Bah for Complications

I got my wisdom teeth removed last Tuesday. All four of them, at once. That is a very unpleasant experience, one that was not helped by my foolish gallivanting around town. The day after, as in Wednesday, I went with some friends to a comic shop, and then to a Chinese buffet for lunch. And, I ate there. Of course, I was sore, but heavy-duty narcotic-based pain meds make one forget. I went on home that evening, after seeing a movie, and went to sleep. Woke up Thursday with a lump the size of a ping-pong ball on my left cheek. Dentist said an infection had set in, and I was to remain at home in bed until at least Monday. Of course, this meant I lost 2 days of work, as well as my first 2 driving classes. And, to top it off, because I missed those 2 driving classes, I was unable to reschedule the one I have this Thursday, meaning I can't go with my friend to help him move into his dorm at Virginia Tech.



Woe is me.......

Summer Vacation

Well, summer break began yesterday, 06/08/07 was the first day off. I have to work MORE hours this summer, to buy a car. Bah...
I'll be at Otakon this summer, so thats cool. I have been thinking of starting a webcomic, but alas, for all my creative ideas, I have no drawing skills.

I work Saturday mornings.....But when I get home, I read funny comics to help pull me out of the sad, depressed state I'm in, after spending four hours shelving books in a library full of old hags. And I do it for $5.98/hr(USD)

Link Dump-Anime Goodsness

Taking a cue from 4CR , I have decided to occasionally update this space with a "link dump" of interesting topics. Today is all about Anime/Manga.

National Anime- Forums, and anime downloads. Free members get anime from the past month, Subscribers get a lot more.

Anime Eden- Free and Donation sections. Both are updated (occasionally), but donation has a wider variety. Oh, they have Manga and soundtracks as well.

Stop Tazmo- HUGE free manga selection. Lots of completed and ongoing series. Also, you can bash Tazmo.

Got Lurk?-Huge selection of manga, requires IRC. Be careful about not reading the rules, or you WILL be banned. For IRC clients, I reccomend ChatZilla, It integrates into Firefox!

KATSUCON!!!

So.....Heroes is on again. Second season began last monday, and Season 2, Episode 2 airs tomorow at 9 P.M. EST. Great show, Heroes, great plot. It always leaves you hangin'. They also have an alternate-reality game going on. I think it's at www.primatechpaper.com . Just look on Digg if you can't find it.
Gah, so tired. Need sleep.....
